I would like to take the time to write my thoughts on our youth camp!

What a time we had studying the book of Colossians!

Christ is the supreme one, the creator and sustainer of the World! We focused on the person and work of Jesus. I think all the youth learned something new about Jesus and our union with Him!

Our morning devotions we unique incorporating some funny video's with our passages to think about. The youth had times alone to seek the Lord, asking for Him to open there hearts and minds to there sins, in order that they would grow!

After our morning service we had guy, girl breakouts that were awesome times.

I thank Steven and Aundie for sharing their testimony to the kids on Thursday night!

The camp was small and there was not a lot to do so the kids had to get along and think through what to do on free time. It created a great situation for learning and more intimate communication.

"Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths" Proverbs 7:25- Why would I want to stray from the God who loves me and gave himself for me? Isn't that what that question really is getting at. I've strayed from the Lord before and there is never a lasting peace. If you have to ask the question that's above, it's probably something or someone you shouldn't get involved in.

B.A.S.I.C. is the Jr.high and high school groups at Calvary Christian Fellowship of Tucson, Arizona. You can visit the main fellowship site at www.ccftucson.org. Beau Ouellette serves as the church administrator and youth overseer, with his wife Sylvia. Basic consist of approximately 60 youth ranging from the 6th grade to 12th grade.
